The Bahá’í electoral system is one of the most distinctive features of the Bahá’í Administrative Order. Unlike political elections in most countries, Bahá’í elections involve no nominations, no campaigning, no political parties, and no candidates. Bahá’ís regard this process as a spiritual exercise designed to promote unity
